I believe we can still called it “IA”. When you go to work day portal website, you will see this page. I was struggled a lot (honestly still now…) where is saved schedule. Ridiculously, when you click ‘View My Academic Plan” you can see ‘saved schedule’. How people can expect this function under :Register for Course”. When I see this page at the very first time I thought ‘saved schedule’ will be under “View My Academic Plan”, because it is also part of my plan that I’ve created. (There is too many problem in workday I believe, but those are not quite relevant with IA, so I will talk about it later) Even search engine doesn’t work for saved schedule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-642x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4575\" width=\"321\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-642x1024.png 642w, https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-188x300.png 188w, https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-768x1225.png 768w, https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-963x1536.png 963w, https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-720x1149.png 720w, https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-580x925.png 580w, https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM-320x511.png 320w, https:\/\/www.interactiondesignhistory.com\/2022\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-10.39.59-PM.png 974w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 321px) 100vw, 321px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
I believe in this case, there will be more effective solution, but for general IA problem, I have one suggestion (solution) which is make universal search engine.
