And this is one that most detailed. I didn’t know there was that many variety of (history of latin) languages. Also I was surprised that there were few different perspective to see history of languages. I use Korean which is developed by Sejong the Great (the fourth ruler of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea). So when I learned about history of Korean, the history was very well recorded and almost everything was very clear. It was new for me not to learn the history as it is, but to learn various opinions by tracking it backwards.

The most interesting article for me was about the Apple icon. Because this is very related to my recent work and what I am doing right now. Susan keeps identity of image or products but she made the icon very simple and intuitively. Also she considered about pixel so, it looks very easy to convert hand drawing to digital arts. Past couple years, I felt like it’s very hard to keep simple but intuitively. At the bottom of article, I realized the most important thing of ICON is social consensus on ICON. Because, when I first use Mac Book, I didn’t know what commend icon means. I’ve never seen this icon before, and the keyboard arrangement is not really lame as what I used to use before. And If I see the commend icon on the highway, I might very confused (just the bottom image).

I’ve heard many history of language.
